Intelligently connecting our world in the 5G era

Today, we are in the early phases of 5G deployment, yet we are already seeing unprecedented proliferation of technology adoption and consumer demand for 5G. While 3GPP standardization established a solid technology foundation and focused on enabling enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) use cases such as smartphones and fixed wireless access, future standardization releases, building upon this foundation, will expand into new applications across industries. To fully realize the 5G vision, 5G will evolve with a focus of addressing the requirements of expanded IoT use cases. 5G is an innovation platform for this decade that will deliver unified connectivity for virtually everything around us.
