2026-2027
leadership positions
now open
We are looking for motivated students who are interested in helping build and grow the club through technical workshops, industry events, design projects, outreach, and community engagement. Students of all experience levels are encouraged to apply, especially those excited to learn, lead, and explore the Internet of Things.

IoT Students Club, an organization affiliated with the Warren B. Nelms Institute for the Connected World, promotes the advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT) among undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Florida. Our organization encompasses all areas of IoT to address global problems, empowering student members to contribute towards creating secure, efficient, and connected communities.
We host events like workshops, panels, and hands-on training for students by partnering with IoT faculty and industry experts. Our annual IoT Design Competition allows students to design, build, and showcase exciting IoT projects. Through our activities, IoT Students Club seeks to encourage student participation in the application of IoT technology to solve real-life problems and create awareness about the enormous prospect of what IoT technology brings to our world.
