Professor Yier Jin, member and lead of the education program of the Warren B. Nelms Institute wins the prestigious 2020 IEEE CEDA Ernest S. Kuh Early Career Award.

The IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation (CEDA) was established to foster design automation of electronic circuits and systems at all levels. The goal of the IEEE CEDA Ernest S. Kuh Early Career Award recognizes an individual who has made substantial contributions to the area of Electronic Design Automation in the early stages of his or her career. The award committee will select one awardee every year based his/her innovative and substantial technical contributions to the area of Electronic Design Automation in the early stages of his or her career (within 8 years of getting the highest educational degree).

Dr. Yier Jin was selected as the winner of the IEEE CEDA Ernest S. Kuh Early Career Award in 2020 for his contributions to trustworthy and secure semiconductors and systems design, verification, and assurance as well as the contributions to promote IoT and embedded system design and security.
