IoT Students Club Leads Hands-On Hardware Workshop

The IoT Students Club hosted a Hands-On Hardware Workshop for fellow students on February 26, 2024. The goal of the workshop was to help students learn about sensor fusion and gain hands-on experience designing an IoT system with AI capabilities.

IoT Students Club, an organization affiliated with the Warren B. Nelms Institute for the Connected World, promotes the advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT) among the undergraduate and graduate populations at the University of Florida. Through their activities, IoT Students Club seeks to encourage student participation in the application of IoT technology to solve real-life problems to further create awareness about the enormous prospect of what IoT technology brings to our world.

IoT Students Club President Archit Jaiswal believes hands-on learning is integral to student success. “This was the first-ever hands-on workshop any club in the department offered. Organizing such workshops aims to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world applications,” he said.
