Joshua Bernstein is a fifth year ECE undergraduate student who is working in UF’s ICSP lab under Dr. Swarup Bhunia and Dr. Soumyajit Mandal, as well as graduate student Naren Masna. Joshua’s research interests include integrated circuit and embedded system design.
Joshua has worked on several projects but is currently working on the lab’s Nuclear Quadrupole Resonance (NQR) project aimed at detecting fake medicine. He is improving the current implementation by designing a planar coil to be used as the NQR detector in place of the previously used traditional coil, with the goal of making the device portable.
