Theme: Internet of Things at the Convergence of AI and Quantum Technologies

The Warren B. Nelms Institute for the Connected World at University of Florida stays at the forefront of research, education and outreach activities on core Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, including security, safety, machine intelligence, and interoperability, and their innovative applications in solving global problems.

 

Topics:

The two-day conference will focus on the following major topic areas:

Topic 1: AIoT Security & Trust, with focus on sensor, communication, and system (Hardware, Firmware and Software) security & trust

Topic 2Safety: From Automotive to Food/Medicine/Materials

Topic 3: Workforce Development and Training

Topic 4Edge Intelligence, Analytics, and Interoperability

Topic 5: Quantum in AI

Student Demo & Poster Session:

Organized jointly with the IoT Students Club at University of Florida, we expect to have a large diverse body of undergraduate and graduate students presenting posters and demonstrations on their research projects spanning various aspects of smart and connected systems. The student poster and demo session would be a great avenue to connect with our talented students and potentially recruit them.

The IoT Students Club will also present a demonstration of winning projects from the annual student IoT Design Competition, where students from around the world design and build an IoT device to solve a real world problem.
